Basic Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques for Stress Reduction


This 3-hour workshop will focus on evidence-based mindfulness practices and restorative yoga poses to promote management and reduction of stress.  The course will be a combination of didactic presentation, experiential learning and practice, and discussion. The intention of this course is to give participants tools to reduce stress in turn potentially creating less reactivity, more ease, better sleep, and boosted immune function. These practices will be accessible and easy to use in everyday life. 

NOTE:  Participants will need a chair, a place to lay down, a couple of blankets and a quiet place for the duration of the workshop.
